THE NEW GLASSELL SCHOOL OF ART IS MAKING HEADLINES

May 16, 2018

The Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston opens to the publich this Sunday, May 20th and is, perhaps, the only thing hotter than the 90°F weather. The school, which is the only museum-affiliated art school to teach Pre-K through post-graduate level courses in the country, has caught the attention of both national and international press.

Designboom, Architect, Dezeen, Archinect, ArchDaily, and Houston Public Media discuss the architecture behind the L-shaped structure.

CLAD, PaperCity, Architectural Digest Russia, Houston Business Journal, Realty News Report, and Hypebeast talk about the new building’s impact on the Glassell School and the Museum of Fine Arts’ programing.

And the Houston Chronicle, Cite, Houstonia Magazine, and  KTRK/ABC 13 explore how the new Glassell School and the entire Museum of Fine Arts, Houston expansion will benefit the country’s fourth largest city.
