Prismatic glass breaks white light into the color spectrum, energizing the interiors with natural light and color. A glass system across 21 clerestories creates solar shading on south, east and west facades. The glass is milled into a custom sawtooth profile, then laminated onto an IGU to mitigate solar heat gain thereby improving the building’s energy performance.
Space Curve light fixtures illuminate the café of Rubenstein Commons. These custom glass pendants were fabricated from CNC cut cherry wood molds milled in the SHA shop by Director of Fabrications Michael Haddy, then blown by KEEP at UrbanGlass Studio.
